With the students now back to university the British Universities Sailing Associations’ season is kicking off with the first Match Racing Qualifier being held at Royal Northern and Clyde Yacht Club this weekend (27/28 October).
Six teams have entered including teams from as far a field as Loughborough and ! They will be joined by local teams from Strathclyde and Glasgow, as well as two teams from .
Skipper Charlotte Lawrence will be leading the charge from Edinburgh University, having come second in last years BUSA Qualifier 1 and will also be keen to put into practice her recent racing experience against Ben Ainslie, from the RYA National Match Racing Series in September.
