The Notice of Race is amended as below, paragraph numbers refer to original.
3.1 The date for the first weekend is confirmed as 14/15th September; 420 class dinghies will be used, additionally a flight of Firefly dinghies may be used. RNSC, HMS Excellent, Whale Island, Portsmouth Harbour is confirmed as the venue for all three trials (and the 16/17th November, if needed).
3.5 The RYA will pay for entry fees, individual travel costs up to ?800 and arrange and pay for accommodation at the Championship.
3.6 The Race Committee may change the format or the programme at any time. This authority may be delegated to the PRO.
4.1 Sailing instructions will be issued after the 31st August 2002 (when the number of entries is confirmed).
4.2 Registration will be from 08.30 until 09.15 hours on Saturday 14th September.
4.3 Briefing will be at 10.00 hours on Saturday 14th September.
Additional item:
Competitors are required to provide their own Red and Yellow flags for signalling their intention to protest. These must be of adequate size, a 20cm by 30cm display will be considered adequate.
