ANUSC – the Association of Northern University Sailing Clubs – held their annual training and racing weekend aimed at freshers and less experienced teams at West Kirby SC on 22 & 23 October. The Bottled Firefly Trophy was won by Liverpool. Birmingham was 2nd and Nottingham 3rd. See the Hamer Report:

The Student Yachting World Cup ‘defender’, 2010 Champions Southampton Solent, won the first race on Wednesday, the second day of racing off La Trinité-sur-Mer in Quiberon Bay, Brittany.
