Join the BUSA Committee for 2020-21. Nominations are now sought.

Do you have ideas for how to improve university sailing? Or are you looking to develop your professional skills by taking on a leadership role with a national organisation? There are plenty of roles available on the BUSA Committee for different interests and skill sets. You could be helping us to deliver top-quality BUCS racing, promoting student sailing across different media platforms or supporting university clubs to grow and offer more for beginners.

If you are willing to get stuck in and help us to shape the future of student sailing then we want to hear from you!

The new BUSA Committee for the 2020-21 academic year will be elected at the Annual General Meeting, to be held during the BUCS Team Racing Championship Finals at Grafham Water SC on Tuesday the 14th of April.

Roles eligible for nominations are as follows:

  • Vice Chair
  • Vice President 2020-22
  • Honorary Treasurer
  • Development Officer
  • Media Coordinator
  • Team Racing Officer
  • Fleet Racing Officer
  • Match Racing Officer
  • Keelboat Officer
  • South Central Area Chair
  • Midlands Area Chair
  • Western Area Chair
  • Northern Area Chair
  • Scottish Area Chair
