The BUSA Sailing Committee are happy to announce the details of the Student Yachting National 2008.
Date: 16th-20th March 2008 (Boat collection late evening on the 16th)
Venue: Portsmouth Harbour Yacht Club, Port Solent.
Entry fee: £150 per team ? Send to BUSA Sailing
Sunsail Charter Fee: £990 per team ? Send to Sunsail
Sunsail Charter Damage deposit: £2000 per team ? Send to Sunsail
A team of 8 sailors (including at least 2 must be female) sail in a fleet racing event in chartered yachts from Sunsail.
All the boats will be Sunfast 37s.
50 BUSA Sport points will be up for grabs for the winning team, 35 for the runner up, 24 for 3rd place, 16 for 4th place, 14 for 5th place, 12 for 6th place, 10 for 7th place and 8 for 8th place.
FREE COACHING – Legendary Coach and BUSA Sailing President, Jim Saltonstall MBE, will be coaching on the water at the event, followed by his daily video debrief.
The winning team may be invited to attend the Student Yachting World Cup in October 2008.
