The subscriptions for BUSA sailing are now overdue. If your club has not subscribed then please can you insure this is sorted out as soon as possible.
If your club have competed in any BUSA sailing event or intend to participate in any of the forthcoming events you must affiliate to BUSA sailing for your results to qualify. Under the new Royal Yachting Association ((RYA) the national governing body for sailing in the UK,) affiliation scheme your membership to BUSA sailing provides your club with RYA affiliated status. If you do not have this status you cannot run racing under the racing rules of sailing and will not be able to host an event. Without membership to BUSA sailing you will not be able to take part in the forthcoming fleet racing, team racing, match racing or yachting finals, which all qualify for BUSA sports points.
The subscription fee this year is ?135. Due to the change in the RYA affiliation if your club has paid the RYA affiliation fee you should contact RYA membership department and you will be refunded the money.
