Today, for the first time, an all-female BUSA Team is heading to the USA for a two and a half week circular tour of the East Coast venturing as far south as Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia and as far north as Dartmouth in New Hampshire.
The team of 6 girls:
Jo Brigg – Southampton University
Bethan Carden – Cambridge University
Ellen Milner – Oxford University
Claire Paramore – King’s College, London Nicola Russell – Oxford University Rachel Wigmore – Cambridge University
were selected to represent BUSA through trials held over the past university year from applicants from universities all over the UK.
The tour is kicking off at St Mary’s College, Maryland where the girls will head after their flight lands in Washington DC this afternoon (2pm here, 7pm to the UK!).
