The Calendar includes all BUCS-BUSA sailing events, relevant RYA and other events (including international) and programmes in which student sailors and teams regularly compete or participate (e.g. Keelboat Squad). The Calendar carries all university events hosted by BUSA Member Clubs (USCs) that are notified to us (inclusion is discretionary, but no other events are listed on the first or second weekend of November, which is reserved for the BUCS-BUSA Fleet Championships, see Calendar). Events for inclusion should be notified to the BUSA Secretary or by using the Contact Form.
Durham and Newcastle University are excited to invite you to their jointly run team-race event: The Angel of the North. The premier northern event is returning stronger than ever after last year's snowstorm disruption. It boasts competitive racing, and a world class social.
The evening socials on Friday and Saturday night will be run by Newcastle University, with racing held on Saturday and Sunday by Durham. Racing will take place at Derwent Reservoir SC, which has a large clubhouse, changing rooms, catering and bar.
After the success of the previous year, UCL will once again be hosting London Six Pack. This year, we will be running it as a two-day racing event on the 22nd and 23rd November, with the aim of having 12 teams across 2 flights of boats at our sailing venue, Welsh Harp Sailing Club near Wembley in NW London. There will be socials on the evenings of the Friday and Saturday. Accommodation can be provided for teams.

The hottest event of the BUSA calendar will place at Farmoor Reservoir on the 22nd–23rd of November. With high quality racing in four flights of Fireflies, it’s an incredible opportunity to get newer team members racing and size up the competition. A magnum of bubbly goes to the winners.
