Calendar
The Calendar includes all BUCS-BUSA sailing events, relevant RYA and other events (including international) and programmes in which student sailors and teams regularly compete or participate (e.g. Keelboat Squad). The Calendar carries all university events hosted by BUSA Member Clubs (USCs) that are notified to us (inclusion is discretionary, but no other events are listed on the first or second weekend of November, which is reserved for the BUCS-BUSA Fleet Championships, see Calendar). Events for inclusion should be notified to the BUSA Secretary or by using the Contact Form.

Midlands Mixer is back for 2026! The Saturday will be a day of top-quality coaching, followed by one day of putting skills to practice in a one-dayer team racing event.
The event provides a rare opportunity to train with other universities ahead of the upcoming season.
Join us for this year's Howler at Ripon S.C. with the racing being run by York and the socials by Leeds on the 20th-22nd of November. The weekend promises a weekend full of great, high quality team racing and to have the best of the best socials in the North's premier party destination of Leeds!
The Oxford Magnum returns this November.
The hottest event of the BUSA calendar will place at Farmoor Reservoir on the 21st-22nd of November boasting some of the highest quality team racing, it’s an incredible opportunity to get newer team members racing and size up the competition. A magnum of bubbly goes to the winners.
The Angel of the North returns on the 28th and 29th November 2026, with the sailing ran by Durham at Derwent Reservoir SC and socials being held in Newcastle. It's sure to be a high-quality weekend both on and off the water and we look forward to having you!
